Getting Support

How to get help if something goes wrong or you have questions.

Key Takeaways

  • Discord is the fastest way to get help from the team
  • The docs and learn sections cover most common questions
  • Never share your private key or secret phrase with anyone

Start with Self-Help

Most questions have answers already written down. Before reaching out, check these resources.

Docs page (maxfi.tech/docs). Covers how deposits work, rebalancing, fee structure, and common questions.

Learn section (maxfi.tech/learn). You are here now. The Getting Started and Core Concepts tracks cover the basics.

Blog (maxfi.tech/blog). Longer articles about strategies and protocol updates.

FAQ sections. Every learn lesson has FAQ answers at the bottom.

How to Reach Support

If the docs do not answer your question, reach out directly.

Discord: discord.gg/fjNY8UzYAc

The fastest way to get help. The team is most responsive here. Ask in the support channel and you will usually get a reply quickly.

X (Twitter): @MaxFinanceTech

Send a DM or tag @MaxFinanceTech in a post. The team monitors mentions and messages.

Describing Your Issue

Good issue reports get faster answers. Include:

What you expected to happen. "I tried to deposit $500 into WETH/USDC."

What actually happened. "The transaction failed with an error."

Your wallet address. This lets the team look up your position on-chain.

Screenshots. A picture of the error helps a lot. Include transaction hashes if you have them.

Your browser and wallet. "Chrome with MetaMask" or "Safari with Coinbase Wallet."

Common Issues and Quick Fixes

Transaction failed. Check that you have enough ETH for gas on Base. Even a few cents is enough.

Position shows zero value. Wait a few minutes after depositing. Refresh the page.

Cannot connect wallet. Refresh the page. Disconnect and reconnect. Make sure you are on Base network.

Harvest button not working. Check that there are fees to harvest. New positions need time to earn fees first.

Security Warning

This is the most important part of this lesson.

MaxFi will never ask for your private key. Not in a DM. Not anywhere. Never.

MaxFi will never ask for your secret phrase. Those 12 or 24 words are for your eyes only. Forever.

MaxFi will never ask you to send funds to a random address. All deposits go through maxfi.tech only.

If someone asks for any of these things, they are a scammer. Block them. Report them.

Real support will only ask for your public wallet address (starts with 0x). This is safe to share.
